Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find your pies?

Please check our pie locator for a location near you.

To place an order or for pricing inquiries, please email: order@villagepiemaker.com or call: 402.909.6409

How do I bake my pie?

Do any of your products contain nuts?

The facility that produces our large fruit pies (including pumpkin pie and pie crusts) is a dedicated nut-free facility. Our Cream Pies, Cheesecakes, and Minis either contain tree nuts, or are produced in facilities that handle tree nuts and peanuts.

Can I bake two fruit pies at once?

For best results, we do not recommend baking two pies at once. If you choose to bake more than one pie at a time, we suggest raising the temperature to 375° and baking for the full 90 minutes, rotating halfway through.

Do I remove the cardboard around the pie tin before baking my fruit pie?

Yes. Please remove all outer packaging before placing your fruit pie in the oven. Only the pie inside the tin should be baked.

Packing and Shipping Questions

How long will my pie stay frozen in transit?

We take great care to pack our pies for shipping, but please remember they are perishable. The dry ice will keep your pies frozen through the delivery date but not through a long weekend sitting outdoors while your recipient is on vacation. Upon delivery, please ensure your package is claimed as soon as possible and pies are unpacked immediately and placed in the freezer or baked.

When will my package ship?

To ensure frozen packages will not sit over the weekend, we ship orders Monday through Wednesday for same-week delivery. If you place your order after 1:30 pm CST on Wednesday, it will ship out the following Monday. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information once it has shipped.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, the Village PieMaker cannot ship outside the continental United States.

Should I notify a gift recipient?

Pies are perishable! You will receive a confirmation email with your order number and a tracking link for shipping. Please make sure the recipient is aware of their package and when it will be delivered. Village PieMaker will not be responsible for unclaimed packages that arrive to the destination on the specified date.

What is your return policy?

Food purchases are non-returnable and non-refundable once shipped. If you have an issue with your order, please contact customersupport@villagepiemaker.com

What if my package is damaged?

Please double check your shipping information. Village PieMaker is not responsible for damaged product due to incorrect or inaccurate shipping information, unforeseen “Acts of God” such as severe weather, or other natural disasters that prevent the standard operation of shipping transportation services, like UPS, FedEx or any other transportation service. If you do have an issue with your shipping service, please contact your shipper directly.

How early should I order for Holiday delivery?

Our pies make great gifts! Please order early—it may be necessary to order up to two weeks in advance due to variability in shipping and delivery schedules.  If you are concerned with receiving product by a specific date, please email customersupport@villagepiemaker.com to confirm delivery dates and availability. Please order at least ten days in advance for Thanksgiving or Christmas delivery.

What is your holiday schedule?

Please order early for holiday delivery—up to 10 days in advance for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We are closed New Year's day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor day, Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, as well as December 23—26 each year.
